I used this firm to help with a workman's comp dispute. We started the process on February 1, 2023 and had a settlement agreement by August 22, 2023. Rob Ursy PA and Rose Fagan did a wonderful job with my workmen compensation case. I slipped at my work in Spartanburg, SC. I was treated respectfully and that I was important. My husband and I were victims of a hit and run accident about a year ago, My husband suffered a cracked clavicle and deep bruises to both knees, my injuries required a session of physical therapy. Student Dies in Cherokee County Truck Accident

A three-vehicle collision left one woman dead and two others injured after a woman lost control of her vehicle causing a truck crash in Cherokee County.The accident happened on Interstate 85 in Cherokee County, close to the North Carolina state line. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, at approximately 5:10 p.m. Krystal Brooke Pearce and her passenger were driving northbound when they apparently lost control of their vehicle, a 2003 Toyota Camry. The car reportedly crossed the median near the 106 mile marker, striking two 18-wheeler trucks driving southbound.

The first truck to be hit was a 2013 Freightliner driven by Kenneth A. Goodman. Goodman was not injured in the accident. The second truck was a 2007 Freightliner driven by James Allen Carthens. His truck overturned, blocking both southbound lanes on I-85.

Pearce was killed in the accident. Her passenger had to be airlifted to the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Both Pearce and her passenger were students at Southern Wesleyan University and were on their way home for fall break when the crash occurred.

Carthens was taken by ambulance to the Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation, and no charges have been filed against the drivers. An autopsy is being done to assist in the investigation.
